Noe Valley Home, San Francisco CA

This originally 1000 square foot single family home, located in the Noe Valley Neighborhood of San Francisco, was built in 1891. The architecturally significant property underwent a complete and extensive remodel. The historic exterior of the home had to remain in respect to the district where it is situated in. The interior of the building got completely transformed into a contemporary space with an open floor plan for the main level, an added 2nd story and enlarged lower level which increased the total square footage significantly.
BW Design Studio worked closely with the clients and the architect in the selection of finishes and fixtures to transform it into a home that not only suits the requirements, but also reflects the team’s vision. The result is a home with a light-colored and refined material pallette, enhancing the openness and making a comfortable environment for a growing family.
